The Baby Store Plus is hosting a "Cutest Baby Photo" Contest for the residence of the Four-Corners area!

Below are the 'Official Contest Rules'.

The Cutest Baby Photo Contest entry period begins March 14, 2010, and ends April 14, 2010 (the “Entry Period”). Entries must be received by 11:59 p.m, CT., on April 14, 2010. Digital Entries will be posted on the Baby Store Plus Cutest Baby Photo Contest Group Page on BuzzTown.com website. Sponsor: BuzzTown.com, Durango, Colorado.

ENTRY: Visit http://www.buzztown.com/group/148/the-baby-store-plus-cutest-baby-photo-contest.html and complete the registration as instructed. You may upload 1 photo per child between the ages of newborn to 24 months as of the date of entry. No more than 3 children per household. Photos must be recent (taken within six months month of entry), taken by entrant or at entrant’s direction, non-professional, unpublished and may not have won any prize or award. Photos must be .jpeg, .png or .bmp image formats and cannot exceed 3 MB.

If you do not have a digital photo to upload, you may drop of your photo at The Baby Store Plus, located at 28 W Main Street, Cortez, CO 81321, after you have created your free Buzztown personal profile and joined The Baby Store Plus Cutest Baby Photo Contest. Photos must be dropped off prior to April 10, 2010 in order to be entered on time.

Photos must not contain material that violates or infringes the rights of another, including but not limited to privacy, publicity or intellectual property rights, or that constitutes copyright infringement. Photos must not contain brand names or trademarks. By entering, you certify that your entry does not violate or infringe the rights of another, including but not limited to privacy, publicity or intellectual property rights, and that no part of your entry materials constitutes copyright infringement.

Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reject and/or disqualify any entries, subjects, photos, or related materials that Sponsor deems, in its sole discretion, to be nude, obscene, defamatory, profane, offensive, lewd, pornographic, false, misleading, deceptive, or otherwise inconsistent with its editorial standards, audience expectations, or reputational interests or that Sponsor believes may violate any applicable law or regulation or the rights of any third party. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to verify any element of any entry or related materials and to disqualify any entrant whose participation may subject the contest, Sponsor, or Sponsor's advertisers, clients, or customers to controversy, negative publicity, scorn, or ridicule.

LIMIT: One entry per eligible child per household. For entries of more than one eligible child in the household, the entry process must be completed separately for each child. No group entries.

ELIGIBILITY: Open to residents of the four-corners area of Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, and Utah. Prize winners must pick up their prize in person at The Baby Store Plus, located at 28 W Main Street, Cortez, CO 81321. Entrants must be at least 18 years of age or older who are the parent or legal guardian of a child in the photo. Employees of Sponsor and any other organizations affiliated with the sponsorship, fulfillment, administration, prize support, advertisement or promotion of the Contest and members of their immediate families may submit photos, 'just for fun' but they will not be selected as winners.

WINNER SELECTION: On or about April 15, 2010, a panel of judges will select a winner in each category from among all of the eligible entries based on overall appearance of the child as shown in the photo (35%), personality of child as expressed through the photo (35%) and quality of photo (30%). On or about April 16, 2010, the winners will be notified though the BuzzTown.com message system and given an 'authentication code' to bring to The Baby Store Plus to collect their prize. No prizes will be awarded without that code.

WINNING PHOTOS DISPLAY: The Winning Photos will be printed, framed and displayed at The Baby Store Plus for approximately 30 days beginning approximately April 19, 2010. After that period the parents of the Winning Photos will receive the framed photos.

PHOTO CATEGORIES & PRIZES:
There are four (4) winning categories. One (1) Grand Prize Winner for the "Cutest Baby Photo" will be a $50.00 Baby Store Plus Gift Card and a $50.00 Once Upon a Sandwich Gift Certificate presented by BuzzTown.com. One (1) Prize Winner for each of the following categories: "Best Technical Composition Baby Photo", "Most Innovative Baby Photo with a Pet", and the "Viewer's Choice Baby Photo" will each receive a $25.00 Baby Store Plus Gift Card and a $15.00 Once Upon a Sandwich Gift Certificate presented by BuzzTown.com.

The "Viewer's Choice Baby Photo" will be chosen based on the highest number of 'Thumbs up' the photo receives. So please encourage your friends and family to join BuzzTown.com and cast their vote too! Only one (1) 'Thumbs Up' vote will be permitted per registered Buzztown member. 'Thumbs down' votes are not only discouraged, they will NOT be counted.

Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if prize (or a portion thereof) cannot be awarded as described. Sponsor will determine all elements of prizing in its sole discretion. Prizes may not be assigned, transferred, changed or redeemed for cash, except at the sole discretion of Sponsor. Prizes are awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee express or implied. Sponsor disclaims all and any liability for the actual provision, quality or nature of any third party product or service accepted by the winners. The awarding of any prize is contingent upon full compliance with these Official Rules. Entrants agree to be bound by Official Rules and agree that if any winner fails to provide proof of identity, is found to have violated Official Rules or otherwise does not meet eligibility criteria, prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. Entrants understand that Sponsor is not liable for injuries, losses or damages of any kind arising from participation in this promotion and acceptance, possession and use of prize. Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the contest or in the announcement of the prize. Decisions of Sponsor are final and binding in all respects.

PRIVACY: Registration for a personal BuzzTown.com profile is required to enter the Contest.

DISPUTE RESOLUTION: Except where prohibited, by participating Contest entrants agree that: All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of participant(s) and Sponsor and its agents shall be governed by and construed exclusively in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law of any jurisdiction.

OTHER: Sponsor assumes no responsibility for entries it is unable to process due to network, hardware or other technical failures; or any other reason. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process, the operation of the web site or otherwise in violation of these official rules. Sponsor further reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate or modify this promotion if not capable of completion as planned, including infection by computer virus, technical corruption, non-authorized human intervention, or any other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, or integrity of the contest. In the event of cancellation, Sponsor reserves the right to select winner(s) from among all eligible entries received prior to date of cancellation.

RELEASES:
By participating in this contest and accepting any prize that they may win, entrants agree to release The Baby Store Plus and BuzzTown.com, its parent, subsidiary, affiliated and successor companies, advertising and promotion agencies and prize suppliers, and each of their respective officers, directors, agents, representatives and employees, as well as each of their respective successors, representatives and assigns (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all actions, claims, injury, loss or damage arising in any manner, directly or indirectly, from participation in this contest and/or acceptance or use of the prize. Entrants authorize the Released Parties to use their name, biographical data, city and state of residence and entry materials in promotional material and for advertising, public relations and editorial purposes in any media, in perpetuity, or on a winner’s list, if applicable, without further compensation unless prohibited by law. Sponsor is not obligated to use any of the above-mentioned information or materials, but may do so and may edit such information or materials, at Sponsor’s sole discretion, without further obligation or compensation.
