April is Child Abuse Awareness Month!
The Baby Store Plus wants to do our part to help everyone become Aware of the Facts about Child Abuse and Learn Ways to Protect your Children from being abused. Since our favorite charity is The NEST, A Child Advocacy Center here in Cortez, Colorado, we thought it appropriate to launch a New Charity Fundraiser for their benefit.One thing that puts the 'FUN' in Fundraisers are Great Giveaways for those who help us by making donations. Soooo for this event we are going to give every person
who makes at least a $1 donation, a chance to WIN a Brand New Deuter Kid Comfort II Backpack Carrier! Every Extra Dollar you Donate will get you another chance to WIN! [Example: if you donate $5.00 we will put 5 tickets in the drawing with your name on it, $10 will get you 10 tickets, etc.]100% of your donations go to The NEST, A Child Advocacy Center. The generous people at the Deuter Company are donating one Cranberry Kid Comfort II Backpack Carrier for this event!
This event is NOT restricted to the local area...Anyone can Make a Donation. If you are the lucky winner of our drawing and you live within the lower 48 States of the US, then The Baby Store Plus will ship the Prize to you at NO Charge! If you live outside of the lower 48 States we will still ship it to you, but we will require a small fee to cover any shipping costs over $15.00. *This Giveaway is Void where prohibited by law. For local residents, we will also be handing out Free Coloring Books with a 4-pack of Chubby Crayons to the children of everyone who makes a donation while at our store. The coloring books were designed to bring awareness to child abuse facts & statistics as well as ways to prevent child abuse. The books are filled with fun coloring and activity pages for kids to enjoy and information to help parents and caregivers become knowledgeable about the realities of child abuse.We will begin handing out our FREE Coloring Book Sets on April 1st, stop by the store to make at least a $1 Donation and we'll give your little ones get a Free Coloring Book Set.

We will pick a random winner on May 1, 2010. The winner will be notified by email on that day and will have 72 hours to reply and accept their prize. If we do not receive a reply within the time allowed, we will draw an alternate winner, who will have the same time period to reply.
