I love all of the Burt's Bee's Products, especially the products for baby. I use many of them for myself because they make my skin feel so soft. You can now find many of the Burt's Bees Mama Bee and Baby Bee products as well as Hand Sanitizer, Sun protection products and Shea Butter Hand Repair Creme in our store.
You can feel good about the products you use during baby's bath time when you use Burt's Bees Tear Free and Fragrance Free Baby Bee Shampoo and body wash. Follow a bath with Baby Bee Apricot Oil all over and Talc-Free Dusting Powder on baby's bottom and your baby will be so clean, feel so soft, and smell so delicious that you may want to just eat 'em up.
For Mama's we have Mama Bee Belly Balm to keep your growing tummy moisturized to reduce stretchmarks and itchy belly too. I have followed many mama's who have used Burt's Bees Mama Bee Belly Balm throughout their pregnancy and they have shown me a stretchmark free belly after baby was born. One mama said that she had lots of stretch marks from baby number one, and used Mama Bee Belly Balm during the pregnancy of baby number two...and was so happy to discover that using it throughout her second pregnancy actually caused her original stretch marks to nearly fade away. I looked myself and you could hardly even see them anymore.
My husbands favorite Burt's Bees product is the Shea Butter Hand Repair Creme. As a general contractor he spends most of his time working outdoors and with all kinds of chemicals and materials that can really dry his hands out during the work day. His hands get a real work out and lots of abuse from handling wood, saw dust, pants, oils, insulation, grout, and many other products that I am not even aware of. Sometimes his hands get so dried out that they actually crack and bleed. But now that he uses Burt's Shea Butter Hand Repair Creme with cocoa butter and sesame oil. Now he can keep the dryness totally under control. The penetrating botanical butters repair and protect rough, chapped hands. It only takes a pea size amount applied to his hands once or twice daily to keep his hands supple and moisturized, without making him too soft...don't want him getting a hard time from the guys on the job site.

If the products themselves were not great enough, the company is also pretty wonderful. In 2008 they have created a Zero Waste Landfill program. As of April 2010, they have successfully eliminated all landfill waste from their facility. If they can’t compost or recycle something, it goes to a waste-to-energy facility, where it’s used instead of coal to run cement kilns. Then the ash is used to make cinder blocks. Burt's Bees believes that materials should have an extended life rather than sit in the ground or under the ocean. Watch this powerful video about Burt's Bees Dumpster Day.

That's awesome. I did not know that about their company. Our manufacturing plants in South GA really made an effort to reduce waste, reuse materials and recycle and cut their waste costs by 250K last year. Not only do they feel good to be environmentally friendly, but it made a positive impact on the bottom line.
