Two Exciting New Products from Melissa & Doug Now Available at The Baby Store Plus

We just received a large shipment from Melissa & Doug. Have you heard of this toy company before? They are known for their quality products at affordable prices and so much more. I will have all of the new products added to our website (and store shelves) very soon, but I really wanted to make a special post to highlight a few of my personal favorites today. They are the Metal Shopping Cart and the Magnetic Responsibility Chart. The Metal Shopping Cart is so neat. I bought one for my granddaughter to play with in my store. She loves shopping and I thought it would be fun for her to have a real-looking shopping cart in the store to play with. As it turned out, the Shopping Cart has become both of my grandkids favorite toy that gets played with every single day! I can't say that about any other toy that they have...and they have way too many! I guess that is what happens when your grandmother owns a baby store huh?

We were so impressed with the quality of the shopping cart that I knew it was definitely a product I wanted to offer my customers. It is made of real metal, just like the real carts. It also has the fold down plastic seat for a 'baby doll', just like the real carts. The wheels are beefy rubber and swivel in the front, just like the real carts! The only real difference between this cart and a real-thing is that this one is just the right size for little ones.

It is super easy to assemble with just a hex key, that is also included. And best of all, it is totally affordable at just $49.95! This toy is so sturdy, I think I could probably sit in the basket and be pushed around without hurting it one bit...although I am not admitting to doing that, nor am I recommending that you do it.

The Metal Shopping Cart is Now Available in our Online Store as well as our physical store in Cortez, Colorado.

The other featured Melissa & Doug product is the Magnetic Responsibility Chart. It is really more than a chart of chores...it is an aide to teach your children about personal responsibility too. The wood framed chart boards (there are two boards) are each approximately 16" wide by 12" tall. They are hinged together with 2 sturdy straps, with the dry-erase board in the lower position.
The upper board has an area to place the 'Responsibility or Goal' magnets along the left side. The magnets say things like: Load Dishwasher, Set Table, Help with Indoor Chores, as well as Apologize to Someone, Say Please and Thank You, Take Care of Pet, Don't Use Bad Language and many more. Under each day of the week there are places to put the 'Reward Magnet Dots' that say encouraging things like, Awesome, Great Job, Well Done, Way to Go, and many more.

The lower board is a dry-erase board and is also magnetic so it makes for a great place to keep your yet-unused magnets. As your child accomplishes each Responsibility or Goal, you take a magnet dot from the lower section that best fits the praise you wish to give, and place it on that day. Then your child can easily see how well they have been doing all week long. I love how the chart uses positive reinforcement rather than 'a list of chores'.

This is also great for children that are not even reading yet because each magnet has images that depict the task or activity and the reward dots have different happy faces with each written compliment for their behavior. If I were going to take one of the Reward Dots and use it to rate this product, I think I would choose 'AWESOME!"

The Magnetic Responsibility Chart is now available in our Online Store for $19.95 each. It is recommended for kids ages 3 years and up.

Look for more Featured Newest Arrivals to be posted all this week (and probably even next week too)...as I am working as fast as I can get them added to our website.

Our Lucky Pen Promotion ~ Just for Fun!

I love getting a little something extra with my purchases, don't you? Sure you do.

I love surprise's, I bet you do too.

I also love saving money, who doesn't?

Oh, you are going to love us...because we have combined all of these things into one Fun New Promotion that we are calling our "Lucky Pen Promotion!" Pretty simple name for a pretty simple promotion.

Here is how it works...

We always like to include a little something extra in every order that we ship. So we started including one of our really cool triangular pens with each order. I hand these pens out all over town locally. I'm affectionately known as the 'crazy pen lady' by our favorite waitresses, because I keep them well supplied in our pens. The waitresses love them because they are easy to hold with their triangular shape, smooth writing, and this shape also makes them less likely to roll off of a table and get lost.

To make receiving one of our really cool pens just a little more exciting we decided to have some of them printed with a special discount code right on the pen. The discount code will allow the holder of the pen to receive a 10% discount on every order they place in our online store for up to a Year! (The coupon code expires one year from now.)

To make things even more exciting, there are only a limited number of pens with the Special Discount Code printed on them. They will be randomly pulled out of my 'Pen Bin' where they are already mixed in with our regular supply of really cool pens. So when you make a purchase from The Baby Store Plus Online Store, you have a chance of receiving either one of our really cool pens with our name, website, & phone number on it, or one of our Special Pens with a Special Discount Code that is good until next July! What a nice Surprise that would be!

There are only 150 Special Pens mixed in with 450 really cool pens, so the odds are pretty good. Be sure to check your pen when you receive an order from The Baby Store Plus, it could save you 10% off of your purchases at The Baby Store Plus Online Store for up to a Year!

If you get one of our Special Pens in your next order, please post a comment below to let everyone know! Now don't include the discount code in your post, that is your little secret! Everyone, please tell me what you think of the Lucky Pen Promotion. Doesn't it sound Fun?

Coupon Codes expire 7/30/2011. Discount valid only in our Online Store. Odds of receiving a Special Pen with the Discount Code is approximately 1 in 4. Limited to 150 Specially Printed Pens with a discount code, available while supplies last.

The Juppy Baby Walker ~ A Revolution in Walkers

The Baby Store Plus is honored to introduce you to a Revolutionary new product to aid in training your baby to walk, without killing your back from bending over!

It is the Juppy Baby Walker.

I first learned about the Juppy through a video clip from a television news interview. I thought they were so interesting, but I wondered if they would really 'not put stress on your back' like they say. I did a little searching and discovered that one of my favorite bloggers, Nicole of DustinNikki Mommy of Three blog, had just done a review of the Juppy. I emailed her to get the nitty gritty on this product. I asked her all about it and she confirmed that the Juppy does in-fact help baby to walk and does NOT strain your back holding the straps. She said she Loved the Juppy and I totally trust her judgment, so I contacted the Juppy company and they quickly shipped us out an opening order.

They arrived today! The New Blue and Pink Juppy's are priced at just $24.95 and the Original Black Juppy is priced even better at just $19.95, which is really nice if you need a neutral color so you can use the Juppy for more than one child. I just added them to our Online Inventory and to our in-store displays, so you can Order one Now!

Here is a great video of the Juppy Baby Walkers in use!

Read more about the Juppy Baby Walker in our store website by clicking here. Also, look for a Review/Giveaway of the Juppy Baby Walker very soon, that Karen at Mommy Times blog will be doing for us! You should go subscribe to her blog via email right now, so you will be among the first to hear about her review when she posts it.

HOT New Coobie Bra Colors

"HOT" New Coobie Bra Colors!

I present to you what I think is, the 'Perfect Bra'. Nothing makes a girl feel sexier than a really pretty bra. Add in the bonus that this is THE Most comfortable bra that you will probably ever wear, and that the size is called FREE because it fits any woman from a size 32A to a 36D! Now top all of that off with a price so low that you can afford to buy 2 or 3 of them for the same price that you have probably paid for a single bra in the past. What do you get? You get the Perfect Bra...the Coobie Bra!

If you have known me for any length of time then you have probably heard me talk about the Coobie Bra before. I totally Love this bra for all of the above reasons. And now there are 6 more reasons to love it...Check out these Hot New Coobie Bra Colors!

If you have not tried the Coobie yet...what are you waiting for? With a price of just $16 - $20 who could afford to Not try one? If you are like most of my customers who have bought one...you will be back for more very soon. I personally own 4 of them, and I will be adding to that collection now that Coobie has introduced some really pretty new colors. I am all over the new Mocha. It makes me think of Iced Coffee -my new favorite summer drink.

The Coobie bra comes in a Bandeau (strapless) for those strapless summer dresses, a Scoopneck for the simple yet sexy look, with a bit or decorative gathering in the front to keep the girls from becoming a uni-boob, and there is also the really sexy V-Neck Lace so you can let the lace peek through your shirt for the layered look without the layers. The wide band in the back also smooths out the look of your back so no unsightly rolls created by your bra. They each come with smooth line pads that can be removed if you don't want them. The strapped bras also come with a second set of clear straps so you can change out the straps when you need a strapless look. They are all Super Comfortable and so easy to care for. Just remove the pads before hand-washing, and lay out on a towel to dry. It doesn't get any easier than that.

Oh how I wish I had a nice flat tummy like that to go with my pretty Coobie Bra! Oh, by the way, you don't have to be that skinny to wear a Coobie. I personally wear a size 40B and the Coobie fits me just fine.

See a recent blog review by Amanda at My Life with Rats & More. Look for more reviews coming very soon!

Get your own Coobie Bra, or add some of these New Colors to your collection by stopping by our store in Cortez, Colorado or shop in our Online Store. We ship within 1 business day, (usually the same day) so you will have your New Coobie Bras right away!

RECALL ALERT: Nap Nanny Portable Baby Recliners

How very sad to receive news this morning that a 4 month old baby girl has died, which prompted the voluntary recall of 30,000 Nap Nanny Portable Baby Recliners. The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) in cooperation with Baby Matters LLC of Berwyn, PA, announced the voluntary recall today. According to the CPSC report, the 4 month old girl from Royal Oak, Michigan died in a Nap Nanny that was being used in a crib. According to the preliminary reports, the infant was in her harness and found hanging over the side of the Nap Nanny, caught between the Nap Nanny and the bumper pad of the crib.

According to the recall report issued by the CPSC, they and Baby Matters are aware of one other incident in which an infant became entrapped when the Nap Nanny was used in a crib, which is contrary to the instructions, that state you should not use the Nap Nanny in a crib or on any elevated surface. The CPSC reported that they and Baby Matters have also received 22 other reports of infants, primarily younger than 5 months old, hanging or falling our over the side of the Nap Nanny despite most of the infants being placed in the harness.

I have heard many wonderful testimonials from moms about how the Nap Nanny has helped them finally get some rest because their colicky baby or baby with acid reflux could finally sleep without pain or spitting up all night. However, when I personally saw the Nap Nanny at a trade show last summer I was actually concerned about the baby sitting up and rolling out...just as these babies have done. To me it appeared that the 3-point harness, which sits so low on the babies body, similar to that of a baby swing, would not securely hold a squirmy baby in the seat. Personally I thought I would find it difficult for me to rest, for fear the baby might wiggle out.

The CPSC states that an infant can partially fall or hang over the side of the Nap Nanny even while using the harness. They say the situation can be worse if the Velcro straps, located inside the Nap Nanny cover are not properly attached to the 'D'-rings located on the foam or if consumers are using the first generation model that was sold without the 'D'-rings. Additionally, if the Nap Nanny is placed inside of a crib or play yard the infant can fall or hang over the side and become entrapped between the crib side and the Nap Nanny and suffocate. See the extremely disturbing photo re-enactment below.

The Nap Nanny was designed to be a portable recliner that is ONLY used on the floor, away from any other products, to allow an infant to sleep, rest, or play while sitting in a semi-reclined position. They were sold at toy and children's retail stores nationwide and online, including at www.napnanny.com, from January 2009 through July 2010 for about $130. The Recalled product was manufactured in both the US and in China.

RECALL INSTRUCTIONS:

If you have a First Generation Nap Nanny model (without the 'D'-rings) Stop using it immediately and contact the firm to receive an $80 coupon towards the purchase of a new Nap Nanny with free Shipping.

If you have the Second Generation Nap Nanny model (with the 'D'-rings) Stop using it immediately until you are able to visit the firm's website to obtain new product instructions and warnings.

Consumers also need to view an important instructional video to help ensure the harness is properly fastened. Consumers who are unable to view the video or read the new instructions online, should contact the firm to receive free copies by mail.

For more information, contact Baby Matters, toll-free at (888) 240-4282 between 9am and 5pm ET, Monday through Friday or visit the firm's website at www.napnanny.com/recall.

See the full CPSC report by clicking here.

I ask that everyone please take a few moments to reflect on the tragic death of the Michigan baby girl and keep her poor parents and family in your thoughts today as you give your baby an extra special hug on their behalf.

Our New Blog Make-Over and GIVEAWAY!

I am so in love with our Blog Make-Over done by Sheila of 'Blog Designs by Sheila'. She did a fabulous job don't you think? I gave her very little guidance as to what I wanted. I just told her that I was looking for a clean fresh look that was 'babyish' with more modern shades of pink and blue and look what she did!

Besides totally revamping the blog she also created a beautiful header for our store's website to tie it in with the new look of the blog. Now our blog, shopping website, and our informational website all have a uniformity to them. And she did all of this for such a reasonable price. I purchased the Ultimate Blog Design package for just $65.00 and it even included the New Cute Buttons for the store and the blog, and my custom new signature line too!

If you don't remember what my blog looked like before, here is a snap shot of it. I had tried to make it colorful but it just looked like too much. I had only one sidebar on the right, instead of one on each side, so that single column was very full and too busy looking, it just looked a mess. I also had tried to make a pretty heading and matching buttons, but they were not near as cute & pretty as the ones that Sheila did for me.

"Before"

She created neat, clean headers for all of my information in the sidebars. She put in the cute and simple icons for twitter, facebook, subscribing via email or feedburner, and she made them in the perfect baby colors to match the entire blog look.

I am so thrilled with the new look that we are even ordering a new sign for our building to match the new look of our website and blog. I will post pictures of it as soon as it arrives. Now I need new letterhead, business cards, etc. This is the fresh, new look that we needed to celebrate that we have been in business for 2-1/2 years now and have weathered the economic storm and are doing well thanks to all of our many supportive customers...Thank You!

To celebrate this exciting new look I want to do a Giveaway! I think the most appropriate product to offer in a giveaway is something that a Fresh, New Mama's could really use...the Dr Carey's Baby Care Kit! This kit has a retail valued of $49.95 and comes in a beautifully printed keepsake box that is filled with all of the little 'essentials' that a new mama needs, including: Dr Carey's Swaddling Baby Blanket, Diaper Rash Ointment & Skin Protectant, Hawaii Medical's GumDrop Pacifier, Saline Solution Squirt Bottle, Digital Thermometer, Nose Suction Bulb, and Dr Carey's Baby Care Book, a practical and informative book filled with color photographs and common sense explanations of what to expect from her baby, to help her navigate that magical first year. With almost everything needed to ease the worries of moms and dads. It is like a parenthood tool box that brings the doctor to your home.

If you are a new mama, or soon to be mama, then you will want to win this for yourself. If not, then enter to win it for the next baby shower that you are invited to, it is sure to be a hit with any new mama.

So here is how you can enter to Win a Free Dr. Carey's Baby Care Kit valued at $49.95!

Look In To My Eyes... Lanky Cats

Look In To My Eyes...Lanky Cats are so Darn Cute... yet almost pitiful. They look like they really need your love. I am an adult, heck I am the mother to two adults, and even I had to make one of these adorable little creatures my own. How could I possibly resist those eyes???
The Big, Curious, Eyes really standout on these Lovable Kitty's. Their under-stuffed, extra long bodies (approximately 14" long not including the tail) makes them incredibly pose-able. They are each made out of a silky, soft fabric that begs to be petted.
You can get one of these Sweet Kittens for just $11.99 in our Online Store. Oh, be sure to pick up a second one for your child :)

Rockin Green Cloth Diaper Detergent IS Rockin!

Rockin Green Soap IS Rockin!!

I recently received a sample of Rockin Green Soap (RnG) with an order of Cloth Mama Pads from Talulah Bean. I didn't try it right away because I have an HE (High Efficiency) washing machine and thought that powdered soap would not work well in it. I was wrong, but I will get to that in a minute.

I had heard a lot about how great Rockin Green is for Cloth Diapers for really deep cleaning the soakers to remove smells and stains. So when my Boston Terrier, Max, cut his paw open and ran all over my sheets leaving blood paw prints all over it before we could catch him and tend to his wound, I thought perhaps I would try the sample pack of Rockin Green to wash them. It couldn't hurt, I thought, and I knew that my detergent would not wash the blood out without leaving brown stains.

So I read the washing instructions on the packet and discovered that I could in fact use RnG in a HE machine. Because the HE machines uses so little water, a prewash wash necessary to pre-wet the clothes first. A bonus is that you use half as much RnG when you use a HE machine. I learned that I could have liquefied the powder and poured it in my machine like a liquid, but I decided to just pour the powder where the liquid goes. I tossed in the bloody sheets and my mama pads as well as a few towels too just so the load would be big enough. While running through a full wash cycle and a 2nd rinse I noticed how nice my laundry room smelled. Then when the spin cycle was complete it was time to see how well the RnG had done. I did not have high hopes because the blood was all over the sheet. But when I pulled the sheet out and examined it before tossing it in the dryer, I could not find a single blood stain...Not One! The sheet looked just like new!

A few days later I put a fresh towel on my hook before my shower, which was one that came out of that load. I stepped out of the shower and put the towel to my face to dry off and OMG, I could not believe how fresh it smelled. I just kept smelling it. I even made my husband smell it too. I am sure he thought I was nuts, but it smelled so good. By this point I was totally Sold on Rockin Green Soap. I wanted to wash all of my clothes, sheets, towels, bedding, everything in it.

That very day I got an email announcing that I had won a bag of RnG in a giveaway that I entered at Our Life Blog. I could not wait to get it. I loved Rockin Green Soap so much that not only did I want to use it exclusively, I also wanted to bring it into my store for my customers too. So I contacted Kim at Rockin Green and placed a nice big order. I also ordered a bunch of Sample packs so I can share them with you too.

So now, not only can you buy Rockin Green Soap directly from us at The Baby Store Plus Online and in-store, but everyone who places an order for Cloth Diapers will receive a FREE 2/4 Load Sample Pack!

Receive a FREE 2/4 Load Sample of Rockin Green Soap with any Cloth Diaper Order!

Rockin Green is one of the Top Recommended Laundry Soaps

for use with Cloth Diapers.

Find Rockin Green Soap in several wonderful scents, as well as a Bare Naked Babies (unscented) variety, in different formulations perfect for Soft, Classic, and Hard Water situations.

Here is a video of "Rocking Green VS the Other Guys." If you think your laundry soap is working well on your cloth diapers...you should watch this video!

Bath Time Fun with Boon

Bath is Fun time for little ones. Getting clean is just something that happens because they are splashing around in the water, but the real fun is in the toys and the bubbles. A Toddler never objects to taking a bath. My granddaughter would even start stripping and running to the bathroom if you even spelled the word. Enjoy it moms because in a few years, when they have outgrown bath toys you will have to remind them that it is bath time. They will argue that there is no point, they are "just going to get dirty again tomorrow".

To make bath time lots of fun we have some Odd Ducks to toss in your little ones next bath. But these ducks by Boon, Inc are Not Your Average Rubber Ducky's. They have bold colors with unique prints, and funny shapes that make the each act a little different in the water. Let me introduce you to Bob, Jane, Slim, and Squish.

They are completely PVC and Phthalate Free, and No BPA either! These guys are the Hippest Ducks in the Tub!

You can find all of the Odd Ducks in our Online Store, as well as in our brick & mortar shop located in Cortez, Colorado, for just $5.99 each.

And....

To make bath time not only Safe, but a Bubbly Bunch of Fun, we also offer you the Flo Water Deflector and Protective Cover, as well as Bubble Bath Dispenser! Flo provides a simple solution to several bath time challenges. This unique product diverts the flow of water, creating a gentle waterfall, while providing a protective faucet cover to help guard against injury. And the Flo also functions as a bubble bath dispenser.

Flo attaches easily to the bathtub faucet with a spring-activated grip that requires no assembly or special installation. When the water is turned on, it’s diverted into a stream that extends up to 12 inches in front of the faucet, creating a gentle waterfall and making rinsing hair easy. The soft material on the front edge of Flo helps protect against injuries caused by bumping or scraping against the faucet. Rambunctious little ones can easily injure themselves by falling into an uncovered faucet. So this is a great safety device too.

Parents can fill the bubble bath reservoir and let children dispense bubbles into the water by pressing the button on the front. Heck, that is even fun for us adults.

We have the Flo in three bright colors of Green, Blue, and Pink available for just $14.99 each. Stop by the store to pick one up, or order one in our Online Store where we promise shipment within 1 business day...but usually ship the same day!

So my advice to de-stress your day
as well as your little ones is this:
Fill up the bath tub, add at least one toddler, toss in a few fun Odd Ducks, push the Bubble Button, and Have a Great Time!!

I Love Entering and Especially Winning Giveaways!

I love Giveaways, both hosting them and entering them. But especially Winning Them! Sometimes the host thinks its a little strange that The Baby Store Plus is entering their giveaways (I have actually had a few say that to me), but I am a real person too. I have grandchildren that I like to win things for and I also like to read reviews about new products that I might consider putting in my store. So if I win, I get to test the product out myself before ordering 12 cases of them to discover that the product quality is only so-so...or on the flip side, if I Love, Love, Love a product that I win, then I feel confident in buy 12 cases to put in my store and share with other mama's & grandmama's.

Here are a few that I have won recently and a little follow up to each prize:

I won a Bum Essentials Bumbino All In 2 Cloth Diaper from Dirty Diaper Laundry blog. I have been on a cloth diaper mission recently. Trying to figure our what cloth diaper brands I want to carry in my store. To qualify as a product that I will carry, first it has to be a quality product, and second, the company has to have people running it that I enjoy working with. So the best way for me to determine what cloth diaper brands I will stock in my store is to actually use the product myself. I had not tied the Bum Essentials diapers yet, although I was hearing a lot about them in blogs and on twitter so I really wanted to try one. I entered Kims giveaway and Won! The diaper arrived so fast, I wasn't even expecting it for a few more days at least. I took it home and went through the pre-washing process and eagerly used it on my grandson the next day at work...and I Loved It! So much so that I am now going to carry them in my store! Look for them to arrive Very Soon! Thank you Dirty Diaper Laundry and Bum Essentials!

I entered a Review/Giveaway for Rockin Green Soap hosted by Our Life blog. I had already tried a sample size packet of Rockin Green Soap that I received with a purchase of Cloth Mama pads from Talulah Bean, and I really loved the smell of my laundry after. I used it on some sheets that my dog bleed ALL over when he cut is paw. Rockin Green removed every last drop of blood! I knew that I wanted more of this product, so for fun I entered the giveaway and won. Before the bag even arrived, (which is did right away) I decided that I wanted this product for my store. So you can look for it to arrive this week at The Baby Store Plus. Also expect to receive a Free Sample with all future purchases of cloth diapers from us! Thank you Rockin Green Soap and Our Life blog!

I entered a review/giveaway for a Loop-2-Loop buckle-less belt for toddlers made by an Etsy mom, hosted by Toddler Mama's blog. I thought these were a very neat idea for toddlers who are tall and slim like my granddaughter Sydney. If she finds pants that fit in the waist they are so short they look like capri pants, so we have to get them long enough and use something to gather up the waist so they are not saggin and baggin all day. We love the Dapper Snappers that we currently use (and carry in our store), but we thought we'd try the Loop-2-Loop too. I chose the pink with white snaps since Sydney loves anything pink. They arrived pretty fast and we tried them out the very day they arrived. I loved them. I really wanted to carry them in my store along with the Dapper Snappers, however there are so many crazy federal requirements for lead and other toxins that I cannot carry anything that doesn't have certificates of testing compliance. Since she is small business she doesn't have any testing done on her products yet....but she should contact me once she does...I love them!

I won a Freckles Galore Crayon Roll-up (another great Etsy mom) hosted in a review/giveaway by Twee Poppets blog. My granddaughter chose the Ladybug Garden print...once again because it is really 'pink' and has ladybugs. As soon as it arrived Sydney opened it up and we happily discovered that she had included brand new crayons too! I did not expect that. Sydney was just oohing and awwing at it for quite a while. We were going on a long drive the next day so we took the Crayon Roll up with us and Sydney had a ball using the crayons and putting them back in the little pockets then rolling it up for me to tie it for her. I think this is such a nice simple product for little ones. You should check out Freckles Galore on Etsy because she makes lots of other sweetly simple products too.

There are more prizes, but these are the ones that really stand out in my mind right now. I hope you enjoyed reading about them and will visit the blogs that hosted such great giveaways, as well as the companies that were generous enough to offer their products as giveaways.

I do have one other prize that I won that I will actually be giving away in turn. It was a Gift Certificate for Ecomom that I won in a review/giveaway hosted by Children Teaching Mama blog. I used the gift certificate to purchase a bunch of Plum Organics Baby Food Pouches that use the new Boon Dispensing Spoons. I will be giving away 1 free pouch with each order of 2 or more dispensing spoons from our website. Cool way of giving back...which is especially fun because I LOVE Plum Organics Baby Food so much! Look for a post all about that later this week!

Thanks for visiting my blog and taking the time to read all the way down to this point :) I would love it if you shared your thoughts, as well as your personal entering and winning experiences. If you are a blogger hosting a giveaway, feel free to add a link in your comment too!

UPDATE (July 13, 2010): Just today I Won something else! I won the Little Looster Booster! This will be perfect to use in my baby store since we have lots of little people that need to use the potty, and since it doesn't have to be moved for adults to use the potty, it can just stay there. What a Very Cool device. I won it from Los Angeles Mama Blog.

It's Friday! Bloghop Day!

It's Friday! Bloghop Day!

I look forward to Fridays, not just because it's the end of the week but because I get to enter all of the Friday Bloghops. I have been participating in them for several weeks now and I have met so many wonderful women (and a daddy blogger too).

This week I am highlighting my newest bloghop find that fits me like a comfy slipper...the Over 40 Bloggers group. I love chatting with the young mama's but sometimes its nice to chat with a woman who understand being a grandma, having hot flashes, and the feelings associated with growing older...gracefully I might add.

I have fun in these other blog hops & follow Friday's too:
